As far back as I can remember I was always drawing. From doodling with crayons as a child to designing marketing campaigns as an adult, art has been my life’s passion.
After high school I began my career path at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst studying art and graphic design. I was even fortunate enough to attend a summer art study on the coast of France in a small town called La Napoule. After college, I landed my first job at a small advertising agency in Newton, Massachusetts where I began to love the fast-paced crazy world of marketing, advertising, and design.
Today, I work full-time as a Graphic Designer for an in-house Marketing Communications department north of Boston, as well as for myself, as an independent freelance designer and illustrator. Over the years I have designed and produced a multitude of visual art communications for a wide variety of clients of virtually every size and industry. Some recent projects include advertising and marketing materials for organizations such as New Hampshire Roller Derby in Manchester, NH and Skydive New England in Lebanon, ME.
Not only do I enjoy designing visual art but I also enjoy creating artistic crafts. In 2008 I joined a local roller derby league as a skater and Art Director. My background in roller derby and my love for art inspired me to create arts and crafts for the derby community and beyond. With the help of etsy.com I sell my products to the public along with attending craft fairs in the local community. Some recent projects include jewelry, glitter helmets, bearing necklaces, and custom numbered armbands.
