Biography
As far back as I can remember I was always drawing. From doodling with crayons as a child to designing marketing campaigns as an adult, art has been my life's passion
I think that my interest in art began in my fourth grade art class. Our assignment was to create something out of paper maché. I chose to make a little sculpture of a duck. As I looked around at the other kids' sculptures, I was confused, because all I saw were piles of muddy paper and randomly placed beads and sticks. Yet, there, amid the other kids' unrecognizable objects, sat my little duck. This was the moment I knew I was different; I knew I wanted to be an artist.
In high school my interest in art grew and I continued my studies through college. I attended the University of Massachusetts at Amherst where I earned a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design.
Today, I work full-time as a Graphic Designer for an advertising agency north of Boston, as well as for myself, as an independent freelancer. I have designed and produced marketing communications for a wide variety of clients of virtually every size and industry. Some recent projects include advertising and marketing materials for organizations such as New Hampshire Roller Derby in Manchester, NH and Skydive New England in Lebanon, ME.
Aside from graphic design I also Illustrate for fun. I began doodling in college and developed a unique urban style that I have been able to incorporate in a multitude of graphic design projects. Illustrating is not only one of my favorite past-times, but it ultimately became a part of my signature as an artist.
